Not very "flashy" but intelligent.

There should've been music for each of the leaders you choose. I was pleasantly surprised with my choice of C. Long live the Führer.
Also needs a restart button.

Although this was only meant as a short joke/pun I'd like to see longer more involving entries from the author. Perhaps more candidates to choose from?

Keyboard limitations pull down play value.

This game is fun but the 2 people playing end up fighting over the keyboard rather than the fight on the screen. You can only jam a certain number of keys at the same time on the keyboard for it to register and it really gets in the way of game play. Plus- if the characters duck, no one can get hit and it becomes a huge turtle fest. The game would be better if it could incorporate some paper/scissor/rock attack styles (i.e. one move always beats another move) and a single player mode where you fight enemies. And it's hard to find another person to play with all the time.
Computers are pretty much a solo machine (networking aside).

Otherwise the animation and fighting moves are pretty smooth and the characters design is pretty cool.

Baandola responds:

Either you played it on a small laptop-keyboard or you got really huge hands. you just have to stand sitting close to eachother. And the same goes for the computers are solo machines theory.
Bubba vs. Igor and Kangoo is meant to bring people togheter :)
Anyway. thx for the input, you gave me some good ideas.

The Kangoo team is working on a new realease of Kangoo. With many new features. stay tuned.

Buggy but good start.

It's a little buggy but it's a good start.
Gauntlet is a little mindless and isn't challenging enough as well (just like the original).

There needs to be a monster spawn limit otherwise if a player just sits there the enemies keep going. The player cannot fire more than one shot otherwise the shot resets to his original position. Holding down the button makes you invincible. Also, right clicking the screen and clicking play can level skip.

The game itself isn't bad but I think the author's talents would be best towards something more dynamic- the game Gauntlet itself never was too amusing and what made it fun was multiplayer.
Perhaps a parody of some sort or something that requires more skill to beat would be great.

Good idea but too laggy to enjoy.

The game was amusing but too laggy to enjoy.
I used a PIII 700 with 256 MB of RAM to play the game and it was still too laggy. The targeting system needs to be reworked as well. You can only kill enemies by shooting their heads and also your gun can only be fired by shooting a target. I know it says in the intro that certain types of body armor etc cause the tagging device to do nothing but a empty click sound would've been satisfying. I would've enjoyed the game more (even if it was laggy).
A movie skip function would also be nice.

But the option to buy more lives and health (humanity helper) was cool as was the ability to
scroll left and right but the lag really detracted from the game. It looks like I shot the hoodlums driving by but the targeting system is off so they die 1/4 of the time.
The game needs a rehash. Good ideas but hard to enjoy.

Entertaining game but too fast on this computer

This game was entertaining but too fast on my computer. It's very hard to target them on my computer but if the game was slower it'd be to easy for some people. It gets a little confusing because at first it seems like you have to lead the target to drop the bricks on them. However, it is only necessary to click the target right when the crosshairs are on the target to kill them. Even when you get the hang of it, it still feels counter-intuitive to not lead the target when you drop bricks.
Still, the game still manages to be fun with its power-ups and it is the games simplicity which is its high point. It would be better if the screen were larger because the critters are almost invisible when they shrink to their smallest size and it would be nice to get more bricks after clearing a "level" so you could play longer. The score feature is a bonus.

The game also needs some different music looping here and there at different levels (option for random music maybe?) and perhaps even different "maps" would be cool in future versions.
However, the music mad is suitable and adds to the madnees.

Cool game- I look forward to more from the author in the future.

moneybagsxp responds:

Hey Shrapnel:
That is actually a first, I've never heard of it being TOO fast. Possible Solution: The game automatically runs in LOW quality during gameplay. Press "Q" once you first begin dropping bricks to toggle high quality. Possibly more detail would reasonably slow it up for you.
Yes, there are MANY features that can and will be added to Brickdrop v2.0. I too find it frustrating when I run out of bricks, especially because I seldomly look to see how many I have left.
More music is a definite, and WILL be added. (You should have seen the game in it's early stages. The beginning loop from the menu screen used to be the ONLY thing that played, and it NEVER stopped!)
Good job, you're in the TOP 10 quite a few times. how about SNiPER? I can't even score THAT high. Nice Job, both of you.

I need more darts.

I need more darts.
It would be nice if there were different dartboards to choose from as well.
The dart aiming system is kind of odd- the dart always flies slightly to the left.

And the constant blood is a little distracting as well.

Fun but the keyboard jams.

This game shows the limitations of using a keyboard to play a game.
The game itself was fun but the keyboard hampers the controls for 2 players. The computer can only register a number of inputs at a time. For this game it could only register one input at a time so when one player hits a key the other player cannot and it's hard to respond to attacks.

Also the attacks did not compliment each other- pecking was pointless because the jump attack was so much faster.

Still a fun game- perhaps better if it was just a one player game to avoid the control frustration.

My finger hurts now.

Nothing like a good driveby before you go to bed.

I hope future entries include different guns and a better way to dodge cop bullets rather than sitting there like a duck.

My finger hurts from shooting- any chance of keyboard firing from now on?

Click the "i" people!

I had to write this review to mention something to the other guy who reviewed it and wrote
"Using Flash animation to just leave a still "i" on a field of white."

)

Click on the i.

You'll be surprised.

It was artistic but I think the author could've went a little farther with it- trippier and wackier.

Needs some touch-ups

The game is decent but there are quite a few things to work out.
The targeting system should not be forced.
In this game you have to hit certain areas before you are allowed to shoot the other parts.
Also, their needs to be a penalty when you miss a target. I found it quite relaxing to sit back and watch Alf float around aimlessly.
Finally a score system needs to be implemented.

It's a good start though.
